According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Dodgers are the favorite to win the NLCS, as Los Angeles is getting +150 odds. Other odds to win are the Washington Nationals (+300), the Chicago Cubs (+300), the Arizona Diamondbacks (+600) and the Colorado Rockies (+1400).
The Dodgers have the best record in baseball and are the top seed in the NL. Los Angeles went 104-58 on the season, scoring 770 runs while allowing just 580. The Dodgers have won the NL Pennant 21 times, last doing so in 1988.
The Nationals are the second seed in the NL after winning the NL East with a 97-65 record. The Nats posted 819 runs this season while allowing 672. Washington has never won the NL Pennant in franchise history.
The Chicago Cubs won the NL Central with a 92-70 record this season. The Cubs are the third seed in the NL and they have scored 822 runs while allowing 695. Chicago won the World Series last year for the first time since 1908. The Cubs have won the NL Pennant 17 times in franchise history.
The Diamondbacks are the No. 4 seed in the NL and will host the wild card game against the Rockies this week. Arizona was 93-69 on the season with a +153 run differential. The Rockies were 87-75 this season with a +67 run differential. Arizona last won the NLCS in 2001 while the Rockies won it in 2007.
