MLB Betting Trends
Washington
The Nationals are 14-3 in their last 17 games versus the NL Central. Washington is 11-2 in the last 13 Scherzer starts.
St. Louis
The Cardinals are 19-8 in their last 27 home games. St. Louis is 0-4 in its last four Wednesday games.
Prediction:
Washington sends its best pitcher to the mound today to attempt to win the series and help solidify its NL Wild Card standing. Wainwright is having an up-and-down season and I think this is a great getaway day spot for the Nationals to get to him enough to support their starter.
