Atlanta Braves DFS Notes
Ozzie Albies finished 3-for-5 with three RBI and a walk versus the Marlins in Monday’s rout. Albies is 11-for-28 with four homers, 11 RBI and eight runs scored in his last six games. He’s up to 83 RBI in 117 games, so he’s going to smash his career high of 86 RBI in 160 games from 2019, even though he’s now hitting leadoff for the Braves.
Miami Marlins DFS Notes
Sandy Alcantara had the good stuff Wednesday, spinning seven shutout innings in the Marlins’ 7-0 win over the Padres. After being bombed for 10 runs in his last start in Colorado, Alcantara flummoxed one of the National League’s best offenses Wednesday. He gave up only four hits and two walks while notching seven strikeouts and 15 swinging strikes. The only time all day the Padres got two runners on against Alcantara came in the right-hander’s final inning of work when he yielded a single and a two-out walk, and he got out of that by getting an inning-ending lineout. Surely you didn’t need us to tell you, but you didn’t need to worry about Alcantara’s stumble at Coors Field. He’s a must start next week versus the Braves.
