Matt Chapman went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored against the Rangers on Sunday. Chapman had a big day at the plate on Sunday against the Rangers, collecting three hits, including his 17th home run of the season. He scored the first run of the game for Oakland with a solo shot off of Kolby Allard in the second inning. Chapman added base hits in the fifth and seventh innings. The 28-year-old third baseman has been hot at the plate, going 10-for-26 over his last eight games.

Andrew Vaughn went 1-for-4 with a home run against the Yankees on Sunday. Vaughn put the first run on the board for the White Sox with a solo homer off of Nestor Cortes in the sixth inning. It was the 14th home run of the season for the 23-year-old. He’s one of the most productive rookies this season, slashing .263/.333/.459 with the 14 homers and 38 RBI over 369 plate appearances.
