MLB Betting Trends
Detroit
The Tigers are 12-50 in their last 62 games. Detroit is 2-7 in its last nine Sunday games.
Seattle
The Mariners are 0-4 in their last four Sunday games. Seattle is 19-7 in its last 26 home meetings versus the Tigers.
Prediction:
Detroit sends its best starting pitcher to the mound in Boyd in what could be his final start in a Tigers uniform with the trade deadline looming. But he doesn’t have much support at all behind him and Milone has pitched better than his numbers suggest. I can’t find a good argument to take Detroit here, especially on a shorter line. While Boyd will probaby keep Detroit in the game, I don’t see a win for the visitors in the cards.
