MLB Betting Trends
St. Louis
The over is 8-2 in the last 10 Cardinals games overall. St. Louis is 1-7 in its last eight Wednesday games.
Cincinnati
The over is 19-6-2 in the last 27 Reds games overall. St. Louis is 18-5 in the last 23 meetings.
Prediction:
St. Louis has dominated this series the last couple seasons, but the Reds have quietly played some very good baseball over the last month. Romano has shown flashes over the last month-and-a-half, while Flaherty has shown a few signs of slowing down. With Cincinnati being at home and St. Louis being inconsistent all season, this seems like a good spot for the hosts especially considering the Cards are coming off an emotional high.
