From Rotoworld: Guerra allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Pirates. Guerra was more dominant than his final line indicates, allowing only three hits and a walk over his 5 2/3 innings. In fact, he kept the Bucs off the board for the first five innings before a pair of homers marred the box score. That late stumble kept Guerra from earning his second win of the year, leaving him at 1-3 with a 4.77 ERA through 11 starts. The 32-year-old will look for that win Sunday against the Phillies instead.
Eickhoff surrendered five earned runs over six innings Monday in a no-decision against the Marlins. Miami wound up winning this one in extras. Eickhoff struck out eight batters, but he issued four walks and yielded six hits — including three home runs. The right-hander is 1-7 with a 4.83 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 16 starts this season.
