Public Betting Trends
According to our MLB Public Betting Chart page, 72% of the betting tickets are on the Brewers to beat the Giants on the moneyline.
San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin
Stephen Vogt (knee) hit an RBI single as a pinch hitter Saturday versus the Brewers. Vogt suffered a left knee contusion in the Giants’ first-half finale against the Cardinals, but the All-Star break allowed him ample time to heal. The veteran will continue serving as a fairly active No. 2 catcher for San Francisco.
Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Spin
Ben Gamel hit a walk-off RBI double as the Brewers beat the Giants by a score of 5-4 on Saturday. Jeremy Jeffress blew a two-run lead for Milwaukee in the top of the ninth inning, but the Brewers rallied in the bottom of the ninth, with Gamel providing the fireworks. The 27-year-old has batted .254/.338/.393 in 80 games this season as an active utility outfielder.
MLB Betting Trends
San Francisco
The Giants have won seven of their last nine games overall and are 4-1 in their last five road games.
Milwaukee
The Brewers have dropped eight of their last 10 games despite beating the Giants last night.
Prediction:
The total is too high, even with a pitching matchup that could lead to plenty of runs scored. The under is 7-3 in Chacin’s last 10 home starts, is 19-7 in his last 26 outings overall and has cashed in seven straight games in which he faces an opponent from the National League West. Beede has also pitched well of late for the Giants and both of these teams have quality bullpens despite some respective issues the past two nights.
The Pick: Giants/Brewers UNDER 10
