Yankees moving along
The Yankees are coming off back-to-back wins in Toronto and they have won four of their last five games. New York is 58-29 overall and 25-16 on the road. The Yankees are putting up 5.13 runs per game this season while allowing 3.79 per contest.
The Yankees are giving the ball to Luis Cessa this afternoon. He is making just his second start of the year, but has four relief appearances. He is 0-1 on the season with a 5.00 ERA and 1.44 WHIP. Cessa has nine strikeouts and five walks over nine innings.

The Orioles will start Yefry Ramirez in Game 2 of the doubleheader. He has appeared in three games this year, starting two. He is 0-2 on the season with a 2.51 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP. Ramirez has logged 13 strikeouts and four walks over 14.1 innings.
MLB Betting Trends
New York
The Yankees are 3-8 in Cessa’s last 11 starts overall and 1-5 in his last six road starts. However, they are 15-7 in their last 22 division games.
Baltimore
The Orioles are just 1-9 in their last 10 Monday games, but they have won 11 of their last 12 Game 2’s in a double header.
Prediction:
The pitching matchup for this one is interesting, but I sense Baltimore will have to tap into its bullpen more in Game 1 than the Yankees will. That should be what helps lead New York to the win in this one. Ramirez has good numbers, but isn’t pitching deep into games. I think New York will eventually get to Baltimore’s bullpen and rally later in the game to win.
The Pick: New York Yankees -180
