San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Ha-Seong Kim was held out of the Padres’ starting lineup on Friday night due to a sore left hamstring. Padres manager Bob Melvin indicated that he didn’t think the injury was a major concern, and that Kim could have played on Friday if necessary, but they didn’t want to risk making it any worse. He’s considered day-to-day and should return at some point during their weekend series against the Reds.
Cincinnati Reds DFS SPIN
Spencer Steer hit a game-winning, two-run homer in the 11th as the Reds beat the Padres 7-5 on Friday. The Reds thought they had the game won a batter earlier, but Elly De La Cruz dove right into Gary Sánchez’s foot in front of the plate and didn’t touch home on Nick Senzel’s grounder. After the review, Steer made the matter moot, hitting a ball 434 feet to left-center. He also singled and walked twice earlier in the game. He’s batting an impressive .283/.374/.497 with 13 homers in 337 plate appearances.
