Eric Lauer suffered the loss as he gave up six runs (three earned) on nine hits with three strikeouts and no walks over five innings.

MLB Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The under is 8-3 in Williams’ last 11 road starts. The under is 18-6-2 in the Pirates’ last 26 Saturday games.
San Diego
The Padres are 2-10 in their last 12 overall. The over is 8-2 in the last 10 San Diego home games.
Prediction:
The Padres are an identical 18-24 home and away, so throw out the home field advantage for the most part. Williams isn’t a great pitcher by any means, but he gets a ballpark boost here against a poor offense I’m going to take Williams and the Pirates to get a second straight win here.
