Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Jorge Soler had an RBI single and reached base twice Tuesday in St. Louis. The Marlins collected four hits and three runs in the third inning, which included Soler’s opposite-field, RBI single. Outside of that they were shut out on just two hits. Soler has cooled back off in June after a big May, although he has driven in a run in four of his last six games.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Dylan Carlson drove in a couple runs, scored a run and stole a base Tuesday versus the Marlins. Carlson plated the Cardinals’ first run in the fourth with an RBI single and put them ahead what turned out to be for good in the fifth with an opposite-field, ground rule double. His stolen base gives him four on the season, which actually doubles how many he had last year. Carlson has decent speed and stole some bases in the minors but hasn’t shown a proclivity to so far in the majors. Perhaps that changes some in 2022 for a St. Louis club which has done a bunch of running.
