Prediction:
Chicago returned to struggling last night after ending its losing skid one day earlier. Now it gets to face Kershaw, who hasn’t been the same pitcher of old yet this season. He was limited to 55 pitches in his first start off the DL at the Mets last time out and struggled some, but the encouraging sign is his velocity was up to 91-92 MPH. I’d imagine he provides a quality start today and if so, will have a fantastic chance to win with the Cubs turning to an often-erratic Quintana. I’m siding with the favored hosts here and you can decide on your own if you want to go with the extra risk of a run line bet.
