Dodgers keep rolling

Los Angeles has won the first two games in the series by a combined score of 12-1 following a 9-0 win on Tuesday. L.A. has now won seven straight games. The Dodgers are 43-19 on the season, 18-12 on the road and 31-28 with the over. Los Angeles has Kenta Maeda taking the mound today. He is 7-2 on the season with a 3.61 ERA.

The Dodgers got more tremendous pitching on Tuesday, as they have now allowed just one run over three games. Hyun Jin-Ryu improved to 9-1 by pitching seven scoreless innings and allowing just three hits. The hitting was balanced as well, with four different players driving in two runs. Corey Seager, David Freese and Enrique Hernandez each had two hits and two RBI.

Diamondbacks keep falling

Arizona has lost seven of it last nine games after losing to the Dodgers again on Tuesday night. Arizona is 30-32 on the season, 13-16 at home and 30-29 with the under. The Diamondbacks have Jon Duplantier on the mound today. He is 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA.

The Diamondbacks were held to only three hits in Tuesday’s loss. Just one went for extra bases as Ketel Marte had a double. Taylor Clarke got the start on the mound. He lasted five innings and gave up three runs. All three Arizona pitchers that took the mound on Tuesday gave up three runs to Los Angeles.

MLB Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Dodgers have won five straight road games and 28 of their last 39 games following a win.

The Diamondbacks have lost 17 of their last 25 Game 3’s in a series and five of their last seven at home.

The Dodgers pitching has been the story of the series thus far and now Maeda takes the mound today. He has won his last four starts and has allowed just five total runs over his last four starts. Duplantier has just one start and six appearances this year. His start saw him give up three runs in five innings to the Mets. The Dodgers have too much hitting for him to be terribly effective. Maeda isn’t an ace for the Dodgers, but he can pitch well and Los Angeles has a great bullpen to back him up. I like Los Angeles to keep rolling.

MLB Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers -155
