Miami Marlins Fantasy Spin
Harold Ramirez went 1-for-5 with a career-high three RBI to lift the Marlins to a 9-3 win over the Padres on Saturday. Ramirez drilled a game-tying, two-run double into the left-field corner off Padres’ starter Nick Margevicius in the fourth inning. He eventually came around to score on a run-scoring single by Miguel Rojas later in the frame and also plated an additional run with a ground out in the ninth. The 24-year-old outfielder has emerged as a key cog in the rebuilding Marlins’ lineup, hitting .355/.403/.468 with 10 runs scored, one home run and eight RBI across 67 plate appearances. It’s a small sample size, but Ramirez has proven that he belongs on fantasy radar screens, especially in deeper formats.
San Diego Padres Fantasy Spin
Josh Naylor went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in the Padres’ loss to the Marlins on Saturday. Naylor drilled a two-run blast to right field, his first major-league homer, off Marlins’ starter Jose Urena to put the Padres ahead in the second inning. That was pretty much it for the San Diego offense, which mustered only four hits combined in the loss. The 21-year-old outfielder hasn’t exactly flourished in his first exposure to big-league pitching, but it was nice to see him show off his trademark power in this one. He’s someone to monitor in deeper mixed leagues and NL-Only formats moving forward.

Prediction:
The Padres have won four of Strahm’s last five starts versus the National League East, while the Marlins are just 1-9 in Richards’ last 10 road outings.
