Angels take opener
Los Angeles won the series opener on Monday, 5-4, to pick up their fourth win in five games. The Angels are 20-21 on the season, 9-12 on the road and 22-17 with the under. Cam Bedrosian get the start for Los Angeles tonight. He is 1-1 on the season with a 2.79 ERA.
The Angels put up three runs in the third inning and then added runs in the fifth and sixth to take the lead for good on Monday. Tyler Skaggs lasted just five innings on the mound, giving up four runs, but earning his fourth win. The L.A. bullpen pitched four scoreless inning, with Hansel Robles picking up his fourth save. Tommy La Stella had three hits in the win, including his 10th home run of the year. Shohei Ohtani also connected on his first homer of the year.
Twins hitting a funk
Minnesota dropped the opener at home and they have lost three of their last four games, all at home. The Twins are now 25-15 on the season, 13-8 at home and 20-19 with the over. Kyle Gibson is getting the start tonight. He is 3-1 on the season with a 4.19 ERA.

MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Angles have won four straight against a right-handed starter and 11-2 in their last 13 against AL Central opponents.
Minnesota
The Twins are 43-20 in their last 63 home games and 13-3 in their last 16 games following a loss.
Prediction:
Minnesota is in a little funk right now, but they still have another solid starter in Gibson on the mound today. He has moved his ERA from 7.36 in mid-April to 4.19 now. He has given up just two earned runs or less in his last four starts. Bedrosian is a reliever getting the start tonight. He has been outstanding on the mound lately. He has allowed just one earned run over his last 10 appearances. However, the game won’t really factor on his short stint. Though the Angels are playing better now, I still like the makeup of the Twins. They have the pitching and hitting. They just need the two to come together tonight.
MLB Prediction: Minnesota Twins -130
