Aaron Hicks notched his first multi-hit game of the season Tuesday, going 3-for-4 in a loss to the Blue Jays. Hicks decided not to play Monday after the police killing of Daunte Wright in Minnesota. He nearly doubled his hit total for the season in his first game back in the lineup, picking up a couple singles and a double. Hicks was batting fifth Tuesday after hitting third in each of his first eight games.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Rowdy Tellez launched a solo shot for his first long ball of the season in Tuesday's win over the Yankees. Tellez got off the schneid Monday with his first hit of the season and the next day belted his first one over the wall. The dinger came in the fifth inning off lefty reliever Lucas Luetge and went 409 feet over the fence in right-center field. For what it's worth, Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said after the game of Tellez that “I’m expecting him to get hot.” Hunches by the manager aren't worth much (anything) in fantasy, but it could mean Montoyo is planning to keep giving Tellez regular playing time.
