OUR PREDICTION
With the way that Gabe Kapler is using his bullpen, I don’t trust him to leave in Nola long enough to keep the Mets hitters at bay. In fact, Kapler was criticized a week ago when he pulled Nola after only 63 pitches. For the time being, the guy is a loon and we as bettors can take advantage of his radical thinking. The Phillies are 25-56 in their last 81 games against the Mets and have dropped five of seven in New York. Philly is also 0-4 in Nola’s last four starts, is 1-8 in his last nine outings after allowing two runs or less in its previous game, and is 1-4 in his last five starts versus National League East opponents.
