New York Mets Fantasy Spin
Keon Broxton went 2-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in a loss to the Nationals on Sunday. Drawing a start in center field, Broxton reached base in all three of his plate appearances before being lifted late in the game. The steals were his first attempts of the young season. The Mets like Broxton’s abilities, as evidenced by them sending three players to the Brewers in exchange for the 28-year-old this past winter, but he’s currently a part-time player in a crowded Mets outfield. If he gets regular at-bats he could be an interesting fantasy asset, but for now he’s just a guy to remember.
Miami Marlins Fantasy Spin
J.T. Riddle went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in the Marlins’ victory over the Rockies on Sunday. Riddle swatted his second long-ball of the season off Rockies’ starter Jon Gray in the seventh inning to extend the Marlins’ lead to three runs. The 27-year-old shortstop has two hits in seven plate appearances this year, and both have left the yard. He can be safely ignored in standard mixed leagues, but could be a valuable pickup in NL-Only formats.

Prediction:
The Mets have had plenty of success in against the Marlins, winning five of their last six meetings with the Marlins. They’re also a perfect 5-0 in Matz’s last five starts versus the Marlins and are 5-1 in his last six outings after allowing five runs or more in their previous game. The Marlins, meanwhile, have dropped 39 of their last 58 games overall and are just2-8 in their last 10 home games when facing a lefty starter.
The Pick: New York Mets -128
