    From Doc’s Sports
    NFL Prediction From Raphael Esparza:

Take ‘Over’ 50.5 Dallas at Washington (1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 25)

Both teams are not heading to the playoffs, but Christmas Day morning we should see points hitting the holiday scoreboard. The Cowboys have lost three straight games and in those three losses their defense has allowed 37.3ppg. Saturday the Commanders lost to the Eagles at home 29-18 and if they can score 18 points against the Eagles defense, I see them hitting the mid-20’s on Christmas. The last 5 meetings between these two division teams 4 of them have gone ‘Over’ and we should see a free throwing ton of points type of game. The Cowboys have hit the ‘Over’ in 4-Straight games and their last 12 games 10 of them have hit the ‘Over’.

    Soccer Prediction From Doc’s Sports:
Take ‘Draw’ (+195) Parma vs. Fiorentina (6:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 27)

Fiorentina is last on the table at position 20 and Parma is close to the relegation zone in position 16. These are two very bad sides, and their lack of offensive proficiency is a big reason why. The total here is heavily juiced to the under, and we agree with that assessment. This gives us two chances for the draw at 0-0 and 1-1. The last meeting was a 0-0 draw in April. These teams have played six straight draws in all competitions, and seven of their last eight meetings have ended in a stalemate. You rarely see odds under -200 for a draw, and when they are at this point you have to take a serious look at the matchup. Parma has been playing very solid defense lately but their offense has been stagnant, with only a single goal in their last two matches. Fiorentina busted out for five goals last time out vs. Udinese, but before that match they had 12 goals through 16 matches, so they are unlikely to repeat that performance here. With the history of the draw between these sides, we think that is a very likely outcome here.

    NFL Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Carolina (+7) over Seattle (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 28)

We have racked up 84 of 136 wins in this space (63%) and I am 129-81 (62%) with my newsletter plays over the last 210 weeks. Carolina already beat the Rams. I think that they can at least throw a scare into the Seahawks here. This is a letdown spot for Seattle after their thrilling win over the Rams in overtime last Thursday. Now they have to travel east for a 10 a.m. PST kickoff. This was the same situation that the Rams found themselves in – an early road start after a big win over Seattle – and I think the Seahawks could struggle to get going. Seattle is just 2-3 ATS in its last five games and Carolina has pulled three outright upsets at home in their last four tries as a home underdog. The underdog is 3-1 ATS in this series since 2017. Take the points and look for Carolina to continue to play competitive football.

    NFL Prediction From Doc’s Sports:

Take #425 New England(-13) over New York Jets (1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28)

The Jets are a mess and just got pounded by the Saints last Sunday. The Patriots have too much to play for in this game to take it lightly and I see them winning by 20+ points. New England beat New York by 13 points earlier this season and that was a much better team than what they will see on Sunday. The Patriots are playing for the No. 1 seed in the AFC and they are coming off a big win over the Ravens on Sunday Night Football. New England is better in all 3 phases and they will take care of business in a big way at the Meadowlands.

College Basketball Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take #306549 Columbia over North Florida (2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 28)

At 2-10 overall, the Ospreys are one of the worst college basketball teams in the entire country. This was expected. So too, was the notion that the Columbia Lions would challenge for the top spot in the Ivy League after returning four starters from a year ago. Recent losses at Stony Brook and Cal shouldn’t faze this team though, as they have a decided advantage on the glass and should score easily against a putrid North Florida defense. Preventing Kamrin Oriol (18.4 ppg) from going off is the number one concern for Columbia.

    NFL Prediction From Griffin Murphy:

    Take Atlanta (+8) over L.A. Rams (8:15 p.m., Monday, Dec. 29)

Los Angeles comes into this game 11-4 on the year and in a massive divisional fight in the NFC West with Seattle. Los Angeles is in a must-win situation here, yet they do not need to blow the roof off the doors as far as health and risk. Atlanta is 6-9 on the year and presently on a two-game winning streak after beating Arizona Sunday in a 26-19 final as a 3-point favorite. Atlanta is picking up steam, and Los Angeles just needs the win; they don’t need a blowout. Laying 8 points on the road is a brutal number to top this off, especially with 3 of Los Angeles’s 4 losses this season having come on the road. Let’s rock with the dirty birds here and the points!

    BOWL GAME OPT OUT LIST
Boca Raton Bowl: Toledo vs. Louisville
    Toledo Transfer Portal
Starting DE Malachi Davis (442 snaps; led team in sacks)
Starting S Braden Awls (602 snaps)
Starting LB Chris D’Appolonia (638 snaps)
    Starting LT Stephen Gales
    None are expected to play.
    Toledo Potential Opt-Outs
S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (headed to Senior Bowl)
    CB Avery Smith
    CB Andre Fuller
    S Nasir Bowers
    RB Chip Trayanum
    WR Junior Vandeross III
All are practicing, so it looks promising for their availability. However, McNeil-Warren is also nursing a bit of an injury. The All-American is a projected early round draft pick, so I could see him sitting.
    Toledo Injuries
    QB Tucker Gleason (doubtful)
Starting LG Carter Fouty (639 snaps)
Expect Kalieb Osborne to start under center. The freshman signal caller went 15-24 for 260 yards in mainly mop up duty outside of the regular season finale where he looked good vs. Central Michigan after taking over for Gleason at the very end of the 1H. He finished 5-7 for 108 yards (1 TD) and added 68 rushing yards on 10 attempts (sans two sacks) with the Rockets out-scoring the Chips 21-0 after halftime.
    Toledo Coaching Changes
Jason Candle took the UConn opening, so co-offensive coordinator and QB coach Robert Weiner will serve as interim. Some other coaches have departed as well, including:
Defensive coordinator/LB coach Vince Kehres (Syracuse)
Co-defensive coordinator/S coach Ross Watson (Iowa State)
Special teams coordinator Stanton Weber (Kansas State)
Offensive line coach Mike Hallett will call the offense, while CB coach Perry Eliano will call the defense. A number of graduate assistants will step up into bigger roles as well, per Weiner.
    Louisville Opt-Outs
Starting DT Rene Konga (532 snaps)
Starting DE Wesley Bailey (520 snaps)
    Louisville Potential Opt-Outs
    QB Miller Moss (will play)
WR Chris Bell (out with injury)
    DE Clev Lubin (should play)
    Louisville Injuries
    WR Chris Bell (OUT)
    RB Isaac Brown
    RB Keyjuan Brown
    RB Duke Watson
    S Antonio Watts
    LB Stanquan Clark
Brohm is still unsure about the status of the running backs. He said he hopes at least one plays.

New Orleans Bowl: Western Kentucky vs. Southern Miss

    Western Kentucky Transfer Portal
    CB Dylan Flowers (358 snaps)
    RB La’Vell Wright (207 snaps)
Tyson Helton usually lets players in the portal suit up for the bowl game.
    Western Kentucky Injuries
    None worth noting.
    Southern Miss Transfer Portal
    S Corey Myrick (660 snaps)
    Southern Miss Potential Opt-Outs
    CB Josh Moten (841 snaps)
Based on his comments, it sounds like he’s leaning toward playing.
    Southern Miss Injuries
LT Blake Bustard (missed finale; 490 snaps)
    Southern Miss Coaching Changes
Charles Huff took the Memphis job, which does increase the chance of opt-outs (stay tuned for updates). Offensive coordinator Blake Anderson will serve as the interim coach and also take over as the head coach next season.

    Frisco Bowl: UNLV vs. Ohio

    UNLV Injuries
TE Var’Keyes Gumms (last played in Week 12)
    Ohio Injuries
LB Michael Molnar (last played in Week 9)
    Ohio Coaching Changes
Head coach Brian Smith has been fired.
“The termination follows an administrative review of allegations that Smith violated the terms of his employment agreement by engaging in serious professional misconduct and participating in activities that reflect unfavorably on the University,” the school said in a release.
Defensive coordinator John Hauser will take over as the interim head coach.

    Hawaii Bowl: Cal vs. Hawaii

    Cal Potential Opt-Outs
    CB Hezekiah Masses
    LB Cade Uluave
It appears QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele is staying at Cal next season, so I’d expect him to play.
    Cal Injuries
    RG Sioape Vatikani
    TE Mason Mini
    WR Jordan King
    WR Mark Hamper
S Isaiah Crosby (hasn’t played since in Week 4)
OLB Ryan McCulloch (hasn’t played since in Week 4)
    DB Cam Sidney
    Cal Coaching Changes
Head coach Justin Wilcox was fired at the end of the season. OC Nick Rolovich took over and will continue to serve as the interim for the bowl in his return to the island. Oregon DC Tosh Lupoi will take over as head coach next season.
    Hawaii Transfer Portal
WR Jackson Harris (49 catches for 963 yards and 12 TDs)
    Hawaii Injuries
    LB Jamih Otis
    CB Virdel Edwards II
    WR Nick Cenacle
Other Notes: This will be a home game for Hawaii.

This week I’m going to find a team or two if possible, that was ATS &/or SU competitive in most if not all games they played. Quicker than naming the alternative dud outings.

Arizona consistent ( not bad yet somewhat good ) = COVERED THE TEASER
Carolina exceeded expectations, no? = WON SUATS
Chicago plays ball = WON SUATS
Denver pulls off tight wins = not this week
Jax is more than we bargained for = WON VS The abover Denver!
New Eng (with a blind eye to some early openers)= WON SUATS
Seattle ( one near miss and blind eye to the opener ) WON SU
    Pitt WON SUATS
& San Fran ( outside edges looking in ) TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT!

So I’m throwing these teams into my teaser & contest menu this weekend
