Love the low side of the total here since Boston's offense is going to be significantly impacted by the absence of Marchand and Bergeron from this game. Boston plays strong defense and they know they will have to crank up that defense since their offense is going to struggle. Ottawa has been going under a ton lately and their power play is powerless so look for the Senators to struggle to light the lamp. Lots of reasons to go under this total here. I am expecting the Falcons to score enough points to defeat the underperforming RedHawks.

I am expecting the Big Red to take another early lead, but not fall apart the way they did on the road and easily cover this small spread.

I'm going back to that as I truly believe Ottawa may win this outright, but I'm a more conservative bettor. The Sens are 4-1 in their last past five after scoring two goals or fewer in their previous game. PL at -150.

Also, Western led well into the second half the last time these teams played, on Feb. 3. My model says the Broncos cover 68 percent and win by nine, so you're getting strong value at this number.

App State is favored to win in my projections by 3.5 points and some other systems do have bigger winning margins. I think we're seeing this line because Georgia State is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games. However, they're also 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games. So there's reason to believe they're due for a let down after this hot stretch. I'll go with Appalachian to win at home, they're undefeated in home conference games.

ANALYSIS: This line feels too small to me and my model agrees, I'm projecting this one at 15.5 points for Wagner and see value taking them at home against a weaker team like Merrimack. Wagner is by far the best team in this conference and has been playing like a top 100 school with a 17-2 record to show for their hard work. Merrimack has covered in just 1 of their last 8 games and Wagner already beat them by 14 this year. Jeff Sagarin's Recent Play Rating notably projects this game at 22 points. I'll grab the value at 12.5.

ANALYSIS: I love the Over in Citadel games. Last Saturday against Samford the final score was 107-93. They just don't play defense. The Bulldogs are ranked in the bottom 75 in defensive efficiency but are above average in offense. They face off against VMI, who has a more severe imbalance. The Keydets have a similar minimal defense approach but their offense ranks in the top 50 of D1 teams. So we're taking two teams that basically throw defense to the wayside to go over the line of 163. This is the right way to play this matchup, take the Over.

ANALYSIS: Idaho State (5-17) is coming off a big road victory against in-state rival Idaho, winning 79-70. Eastern Washington (12-12) played this Idaho State team on the road already this season, winning 89-63. The Eagles are significantly better in nearly every statistical category and Idaho State has yet to win two games in a row all season and is just 6-14 ATS, while Eastern Washington is 15-7 ATS. The large number does not scare me with Idaho State coming off one of its best shooting nights of the year. Back the home team to roll.
