2011 NASCAR Odds – NAPA Auto Parts 200 – Ambrose Favored

MONTREAL, CANADA (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to the north as drivers will compete in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 in Montreal, Canada.
According to oddsmakers, Marcos Ambrose is the favorite to win this road course race with 7/4 odds to win. Other short odd to win are Carl Edwards (3/1), Ron Fellows (6/1), and Boris Said (10/1).
Ambrose is driving in his first Nationwide race of the year. He holds 3 wins in this series over 74 career races. He is coming off a Sprint Cup win at Watkins Glen last week and is considered a road course specialist.
Edwards won this race in 2009 and he has five wins in 22 races this year. He also has 13 top 5’s. His average finish on the year is 8.5 and he has finished in the top 5 in the last four races.
Fellows won this race back in 2008 and he has competed in two Nationwide races this year, having an average finish of 4.5. In his Nationwide career, Fellows has two wins in 16 races and an average finish of 15.2.
Said is the defending champion of this race. He is in his first Nationwide race this year. In his career, he has just the one Nationwide victory in 20 races and an average finish of 16.2.
