With four wins coming in one mile or shorter races since October of 2009, Conveyance can certainly get out to a fast start, but how will the horse do in a longer course this weekend?

Conveyance has 18/1 odds to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Lookin at Lucky is the favorite to win at Churchill Downs this weekend at 7/2, while Sidney’s Candy has opening odds at 6/1.

The last six months have been kind to Conveyance, as it was won a pair of 1-mile and six-furlong races respectively, including a win over
Derby horse,

Dublin back on Feb. 20 in the Southwest-G3. Steady with a time of 1:36 over the mile course, Conveyance needs to show it can handle the longer track.

It a 1 & 1/8-mile race on March 28, Conveyance finished second to fellow

Derby horse, Endorsement. With the Kentucky Derby being another eighth of a mile longer, Conveyance may struggle to have its speed at the end.
