The Czech Republic advanced to the Knockout stage after winning two of their first three matches in Group A. They actually lost 4-1 to Russia (since eliminated) in their first match but then rebounded with back-to-back wins against Greece (2-1) and Poland (1-0. They netted six points, which was two more than Greece and Russia.
Portugal, meanwhile, also finished 2-1 but was the second team to advance from Group B because Germany went undefeated. Portugal lost to Germany 1-0 in its first match but then rebounded to beat Denmark 3-2 and the Dutch 2-1 in its next two matches.

Oddsmakers have installed Portugal as a 1-goal favorite over Czech Republic, while Portugal is -150 on the money line and Czech Republic is +465 on the ML. The total for this game is currently sitting at 2.5 goals while the odds for a draw is +265.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a 7/2 favorite to score the first goal in this game. Hugo Almeida has the next best odds at 13/2, while Nelson Oliveria is 15/2 and Silvestre Varela is 17/2 to score the first goal in the Czech Republic-Portugal matchup, which will kick off at 2:45PM ET this afternoon.
