A Serious Man Odds
“A Serious Man” has been established as a long shot to win the 2010 Academy Awards, but maybe the black comedy can pull off the upset on March 7.
“A Serious Man” is a 2009 black comedy written, produced and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, and starring Michael Stuhlbarg, Sari Lennick, Fred Melamed and Richard Kind.
The film is about an ordinary man who is trying to find balance and understanding in the world. As of early February of this year, “A Serious Man” has grossed $15,090,687.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made “A Serious Man” +5000 on the money line to win Best Picture at the 82nd Oscars. “Avatar” is a favorite to win at –250, while “The Hurt Locker” is +120 and “Up in the Air” is +800.
