Clemens is the strong-side of a platoon at the bottom of the Phillies lineup, and he punched a sharp single down the line in right against Alex Lange to win the game for the Phillies in the ninth. He’s has displayed little power of late, slugging just .417 in his last 15 games, but he is hitting .267 this year and has been a fine use of a roster spot.
