Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Jonah Heim finished 0-for-4 versus the Pirates on Monday. Heim is in a little 4-for-27 slump over his last seven games. He’s also been stuck on six homers since May 3. Still, he’s not someone who has to worry at all about losing playing time.
Pittsburgh Pirates DFS SPIN
Tucupita Marcano went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and a walk Monday against the Rangers. The slam came off Joe Barlow and gave the Pirates the lead in the seventh. It’s just his fourth homer in 310 plate appearances as a big leaguer. He seems to have taken a legitimate step forward, with his strikeout rate way down (just 10 so far in 83 plate appearances) and his exit-velocity numbers much improved. It’s too bad he never really has figured out how to steal bases. He’s also sitting against lefties, so even with the improvement, he’s strictly an NL-only option.
