Tampa Bay Lightning DFS SPIN
Victor Hedman (rest) was back in his usual top-pairing spot at practice Monday and figures to be in the lineup against Toronto for Game 1 on Tuesday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Hedman was given the regular-season finale against Detroit off Thursday but looks to be a full go for the playoffs. While the Swedish blueliner was nowhere near last season’s point total (85), he still managed to record his eighth straight 45-plus point campaign with nine goals and 40 assists in 76 contests. The emergence of Mikhail Sergachev has seen Hedman relegated to the No. 2 power-play unit, but he should still offer top-end fantasy value heading into the postseason.
Toronto Maple Leafs DFS SPIN
John Tavares (personal) is expected to play in Game 1 against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, David Alter of Sports Illustrated reports. Tavares sat out Toronto’s regular-season finale against the Rangers on Thursday. He skated as a winger during Sunday’s practice alongside Ryan O’Reilly and William Nylander. Tavares amassed 36 goals, 80 points, 277 shots on net and 112 hits in 80 games during the 2022-23 campaign.
