Drew Timme contributed 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 20 minutes during Tuesday’s 77-51 victory over Saint Mary’s. The Zags put on a clinic in the WCC Tournament Final against a very strong St. Mary’s squad. Timme only had to play 20 minutes in this one and was very efficient. The senior is now averaging 20.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 0.9 blocks per game. Timme has stated that this will be his final year at Gonzaga and this performance should give them a pretty strong seed in the NCAA Tournament. They will look to avenge their Sweet Sixteen loss a year ago to Arkansas.
