Anthony Davis (low back tightness) finished Sunday’s 114-100 loss to the Cavaliers with 19 points (7-of-12 FGs, 5-of-9 FTs), 12 rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot. Initially listed as questionable, Davis was in the starting lineup and logged 33 minutes in Sunday’s defeat. That being said, there are still moments when he appears stiff in his movements. With the Lakers having to travel to Salt Lake City for Monday’s game against the Jazz, fantasy managers should prepare for the possibility that Davis sits or has his minutes capped. Wenyen Gabriel (four points, four rebounds, and one block in 15 minutes) could see an increase in playing time if that happens, but he would not be worth streaming.

Lauri Markkanen shot 5-of-9 from the field for 18 points during Sunday’s 110-102 win in L.A., adding nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. Markkanen came in averaging a career-high 22.2 points per game, and coach Will Hardy recently praised his defensive contributions. “Lauri does a lot of things that show up in the stat sheet, and he does a lot of things that don’t,” Hardy said. “His defense probably isn’t talked about enough.” Markkanen has at least one steal and one block in four of his past five games.
