Kent State Golden Flashes Game Notes

Starting in place of Collin Schlee (undisclosed) Saturday against Akron, Devin Kargman went 14-for-25 for 213 yards and two touchdowns in a 33-27 win for Kent State. Schlee was a close to game time scratch, and Kargman played the role of game manager as the Golden Flashes put up 242 yards on the ground. A break now comes before Kent State starts weekday MAC-tion on Nov. 1, so Schlee may only miss one game. But if he can’t go, Kargman would presumably start against Ball State.
