Brewers pound Giants again

Milwaukee racked up 14 hits Saturday as it took game three of the series by a count of 7-1 at San Francisco. Christian Yelich was 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs at the top of the order. Lorenzo Cain was 4-for-5 with a run. Mike Moustakas was 1-for-5 in his first game with the Brewers after being acquired from the Royals. Eric Thames finished 2-for-4 with a double and three runs. Erik Kratz went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Orlando Arcia was 2-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI. Jhoulys Chacin picked up the win as he gave up one earned run on three hits with six strikeouts and a walk over seven innings.

Hundley homers in loss

The only run scored by the Giants yesterday came via a solo home run by Nick Hundley, who went 1-for-3. Evan Longoria and Pablo Sandoval both had a double in four at-bats. Steven Duggar was 1-for-3 with a walk. Johnny Cueto took the loss as he allowed four earned runs on eight hits with no strikeouts and no walks over four innings.

Junior Guerra (6-6, 3.13 ERA) will start today for Milwaukee, while Andrew Suarez (3-6, 3.99) takes the hill for San Francisco.

MLB Betting Trends

Milwaukee

The Brewers are 1-7 in their last eight Sunday games. Milwaukee is 4-9 in its last 13 road games.

San Francisco

The Giants are 11-3 in their last 14 Sunday games. The under is 19-9-1 in the last 29 Giants games.

Prediction:

Milwaukee has the better pitcher on the mound today and the hotter offense. Sure, it’s a getaway game but I’m going to place my bet on the better team as the slightest of underdogs. The bullpen should also be in fantastic shape for the Brewers
