Cubs vs. Marlins Prediction

Will the Cubs beat the Marlins again tonight at Wrigley Field and win their fifth straight game at 8:05PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cubs are -192 money line favorites versus the Marlins, who have odds of +181 to pull off the upset. With Jose Urena set to face John Lackey in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Urena was tagged for five runs in 4 1/3 innings Friday versus the Diamondbacks. Urena gave up a two-run homer to Paul Goldschmidt in the third inning before completely unraveling in the fifth. He allowed nine hits in all while walking one and striking out one. The 25-year-old started his stint in the rotation strong and still owns a decent 3.80 ERA on the year, but the home run ball has hurt him recently and the secondary numbers donโ€™t bode well for fantasy success moving forward.

Lackey gave up two runs across seven innings of work in Friday’s 3-2 victory over the Cardinals. Lackey served up a leadoff home run to former teammate Dexter Fowler and allowed another single tally in the second inning, but he shut the Cards down after that. He didn’t give up a single hit after the second, completing his seven frames in 99 pitches. It was Lackey’s first quality start since May 9.
