Will Rossi win Indy 500 again?
After being a surprise winner of the Indianapolis 500 a year ago, will Alexander Rossi possibly shock the world again and repeat?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Rossi is listed with 22/1 odds to win this year’s race. Scott Dixon is the current favorite at 6/1 while four other drivers have 9/1 odds. The Indianapolis 500 takes place on Sunday at 11AM ET from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Rossi made his first appearance in the Indy 500 a year ago, starting from the 11th position. Thanks to some fortunate breaks, Rossi found his way to the front at the end, getting a win for Andretti Autosport. This year, Rossi will start from the third position.
There hasn’t been many highlights to Rossi’s IndyCar career. He is in his second year in the series and he has just the one win at Indy a year ago. Last year he only cracked the top 10 in two other races and this year he has one top-5 finish with one other top-10 in five races.
