Are the Cavs a bad bet to cover against the Bulls tonight at 8:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cavs are now 5.5-point road favorites versus the Bulls after opening as 6-point favorites. As for the total, the number hit the board at 212.5 but has been bet down to 210.5.

Cleveland has split over its last 10 games on the hardwood and is 4-5-1 at the betting window during that span. The Cavs own a losing ATS record on the season at 32-38 and are just 15-22 against the spread on the road this year.

Chicago enters play having lost six of its last 10 games but is 6-4 against the spread during that same stretch. The Bulls are 37-37 at the betting window on the season but own a losing ATS record at home at 18-19 this year.

OUR PREDICTION: The Cavs have dropped five of their last seven games against the spread in Chicago and are just 7-22 against the number in their last 29 games overall versus the Bulls. The underdog, meanwhile, is 17-5 against the spread in the last 22 meetings between these two teams and the Bulls are 5-1 against the number in their last six games overall. Cleveland has also failed to cover in four of its last five road games and is just 1-5-1 against the number in its last seven games overall.
