Kings vs. Sharks Prediction
The Sharks would be in if the playoffs started tomorrow but they’d love to end their three-game skid tonight when they host the Kings at 10:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Sharks are -115 money line favorites over the Kings, who are hardly an underdog tonight with odds of -105. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 5 goals.

The Sharks will send Martin Jones back out tonight after he stopped only 13 of 16 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Stars on Saturday. Jones is having a great season but has dropped four of his last six starts. Jones is battling James Reimer for an opportunity to start in net for the playoffs and needs a good showing tonight.
There is no doubt who will start in net for the Kings when the postseason opens. Jonathan Quick is now 38-20-4 on the season after allowing four goals on 29 shots in a lackluster start versus the Oilers on Saturday. Quick broke a three-game losing streak with the win but still wasn’t sharp.

L.A. is just 3-7 in its last 10 road games and with both Jones and San Jose desperte to turn things around, the Sharks are a solid play tonight at home. They’re 8-2 in their last 10 games versus a team with a winning record and are 6-1 in their last seven games after scoring two goals or less in their previous game.
