Blazers meet the Grizzlies tonight
MEMPHIS, TN (TheSpread) – Two of the best in the Western Conference meet up on Saturday as the Memphis Grizzlies meet the Portland Trail Blazers at 8PM ET.
Memphis is 48-21 on the season, 26-7 at home and 32-35 against the spread. Portland is 44-23 on the season, 16-17 on the road and 34-32 against the spread. Memphis has won eight of its last nine meetings with Portland and the Grizzlies have covered the spread in seven of the last eight meetings. These two have faced off three times this season and Memphis has won and covered in all three meetings.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Memphis is the slight favorite in this game, as the Grizzlies are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Blazers. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set.
Portland has lost three straight coming into this game, failing to cover the spread in all three games. The Blazers have now lost four of their last five on the road and they have hit the over in five straight games. Memphis is coming off a win over Dallas on Friday. The Grizzlies have won three of their last four games but they are just 2-4 against the spread in their last six games.
