Thunder hosting the Hawks
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (TheSpread) – The Oklahoma City Thunder can pick up a big win on Friday night when they host the Atlanta Hawks at 8PM ET.
Atlanta is 53-15 on the season, 23-11 on the road and 43-24 against the spread. Oklahoma City is 38-30 on the season, 24-9 at home and 33-33 against the spread. These two have met once this season, with Atlanta picking up a 103-93 win at home, covering a 3.5-point spread. The Thunder has won six of its last nine against the Hawks, but Atlanta has covered in four of its last six against OKC. These two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Atlanta is the favorite on the road, as the Hawks are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Thunder. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set because of injury questions.
Atlanta is coming off a 114-95 loss at Golden State. The Hawks have played their last five on the road, going 3-2 straight up and 2-3 against the spread while hitting the over in three of the five games. Oklahoma City is coming off a 122-118 home win over Boston. The Thunder have won five of their last six at home, going just 2-4 against the spread in those six games while hitting the over in five straight.
