Clippers a 1-point dog in Dallas
DALLAS, TX (TheSpread) – The Dallas Mavericks welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to town tonight for a big NBA Western Conference contest.
Los Angeles is 42-23 overall, 18-14 on the road and 29-36 against the spread. Dallas is 41-25 overall, 21-11 at home and 30-34 against the spread. The Clippers have won eight of their last 10 meetings with the Mavericks while going 6-4 against the spread in that stretch. These two have met twice this season and the Clippers have won and covered in both games. These two have hit the over in seven straight meetings.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Dallas is the slim favorite at home, as the Mavericks are getting odds of -1 point against the Clippers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 202.5 points.
The Clippers have won two straight and five of their last seven games entering tonight’s contest. Los Angeles is also 5-2 against the spread in that stretch while hitting the under in seven of its last nine games. Dallas is coming off a sizable loss at home to Cleveland. The Mavs have now lost three of their last four while going 1-6 against the spread in their last seven. Dallas has hit the under in nine of its last 10.
