Rockets without Harden vs. Hawks
ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – The Houston Rockets will be without James Harden tonight when they hit the road to face the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30PM ET.
Houston is 41-18 on the season, 17-10 on the road and 34-25 against the spread. Atlanta is 47-12 on the season, 27-4 at home and 39-19 against the spread. Atlanta has won and covered in its last two meetings with Houston, including a 104-97 win over the Rockets on the road back on Dec. 20. Houston will be without Harden in this game as he has been suspended for one game for kicking LeBron James in the groin on Sunday during Houston’s game with Cleveland.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Atlanta is the favorite at home, as the Hawks are getting odds of -4 points against the Rockets tonight. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set.
Houston has won five straight coming into this game, but all five wins were at home. The Rockets have lost and failed to cover the spread in their last two road games and they have hit the under in five of their last seven. Atlanta has won four straight coming into this game, including their last two at home. The Hawks are just 2-3-1 against the spread in their last six and they have hit the under in six straight games.
