Grizzlies host the Clippers tonight
MEMPHIS, TN (TheSpread) – The Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers add a chapter to their recent rivalry tonight when they meet at 8PM ET.
Los Angeles is 37-21 on the season, 14-13 on the road and 24-34 against the spread. Memphis is 41-15 overall, 23-5 at home and 28-26 against the spread. Memphis has won eight of its last nine meetings with the Clippers and the Grizz have covered the spread in nine of the last 10 in this series. These two have met twice this season with Memphis winning and covering in both games.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Memphis is the favorite at home, as the Grizzlies are getting odds of -5 points against the Clippers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 199 points.
The Clippers have lost their last two games, failing to cover in each one. Los Angeles has now lost five of its last six on the road, going 1-5 against the spread in those six games. Memphis is coming off a loss on Wednesday night, but the Grizzlies have won seven of their last 10. However, Memphis is just 2-3 against the spread in its last five games and they have hit the under in seven straight.
