FOXBOROUGH, MA (The Spread) – T.Y. Hilton has established himself as the top receiver for the Indianapolis Colts this season. Will Hilton lead the Colts to an AFC Championship on Sunday?
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Hilton has been given an over/under total of 72.5 receiving yards for Sunday’s game. His over/under for receptions has been set at 5, while his odds to score a touchdown has been posted at +115. The Colts will meet the Patriots in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game at 6:40PM ET on CBS.
Hilton had the best season of his three-year career in 2014, as he caught 82 passes for 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns. Each stat matched or was a new career-best for Hilton. Hilton has been steady in the playoffs this year as well. He caught six passes for 103 yards against the Bengals while catching four passes for 72 yards against the Broncos. He has yet to score in the postseason. In the meeting with the Patriots back on Nov. 16, Hilton caught three passes for 24 yards and also didn’t score.
Hilton has recorded 73 receiving yards in nine different games this season while catching five passes or more in 11 of the 18 games he has appeared in. Hilton has also scored a touchdown in six different games. Hilton and the Colts will be up against a Patriots defense that ranks 17th in the NFL against the pass, allowing 239.8 yards per game through the air.
