Washington didn’t have a great debut under Jay Gruden. The Redskins did have 372 yards of offense, but had two turnovers and were just 3 of 12 on third downs. Houston only had 316 yards of offense, but the Texans scored on a blocked punt to make the difference in the game. Robert Griffin III was 29 of 37 passing for 267 yards while Alfred Morris rushed for 91 yards on 14 carries.
The Jaguars took a 17-0 lead on the Eagles on Sunday thanks to three turnovers created, but then allowed Philadelphia to score 34 straight points. The Eagles ended up with 420 yards of offense in the game while Jacksonville was held to just 306 yards. Chad Henne went 24 of 43 passing for 266 yards and two touchdowns while Allen Hurns caught four passes for 110 yards and two scores. Ryan Davis had two sacks to lead the defense.
In terms of Injuries, Washington tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring) is doubtful while cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) is questionable. Jacksonville receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and tight end Clay Harbor (calf) are both questionable.
