This fight will take place from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and will air live on PPV. The fight will have the WBC, WBA and The Ring Welterweight championships on the line, along with the WBC Light Middleweight title.

These two met back on May 3 of this year with Mayweather earning a majority decision. The fight was very competitive, with the scores from the judges being 116-112, 117-111 and 114-114. Shortly after the bout, the talk off a rematch began and know they are set to meet again just four months after their original meeting.
Mayweather is 46-0 in his career with 26 knockouts. He has had his last four bouts go the full length, with his last two fights being a majority decision instead of a unanimous decision. Maidana is 35-4 in his career with 31 knockouts. The loss to Mayweather snapped a four-fight win streak. Four of his last five wins have come by KO.
