The featured game of the day is a battle for the AL Central with the Detroit Tigers hosting the Kansas City Royals at 4:08PM ET. The Royals have Jeremy Guthrie (10-10) on the mound to face Justin Verlander (12-12) of the Tigers. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Tigers are favored at home, as they have odds of -140 to win, while the Royals have been given a money line of +130 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. Kansas City is 79-62 on the season and 41-30 on the road while Detroit is 77-65 overall and 35-32 at home.
