On offense, Ole Miss had 458 yards, but committed three turnovers. Quarterback Bo Wallace threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns, but threw three interceptions as well. Cody Core and Laquon Treadwell each had over 100 yards receiving in the win.
Vanderbilt didn’t have much go right in its loss to Temple. The Commodores had just 278 yards of offense in the loss and committed seven turnovers. Vandy used three quarterbacks in the game, but they all combined to go just 16 of 34 for 224 yards with three interceptions. Ralph Webb led the offense with 70 rushing yards on 14 carries. Defensively, Vandy held Temple to just 351 yards and 2 of 17 on third downs, but the Owls had a short field most of the game because of the turnovers.
