College Football Week 2 Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The 2014 College Football Season has nearly completed its opening week, but the odds for the second week have already been released.

The featured game this week has playoff implications as No. 3 Oregon hosts No. 8 Michigan State at 6:30PM ET. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Oregon is the favorite in this game, as the Ducks have odds of -12 points against the Spartans on Saturday. An over/under total has yet to be set for the game. Michigan State is the defending Big Ten champion and the Spartans opened the season with a 45-7 win over Jacksonville State. Oregon started the year with a 62-13 win over South Dakota. The Ducks are heavily favored, but have struggled against physical teams similar to Stanford, which Michigan State is. The Spartans have the challenge of heading out West to win, which could be an issue.
The other featured game of Week 2 has No. 11 Stanford hosting No. 15 USC at 3:30PM ET. According to oddsmakers, Stanford is the slight favorite, as the Cardinal have odds of -4 points against the Trojans. The over/under total has yet to be set. Stanford started the year with a 45-0 win over UC-Davis on Saturday, while USC picked up a 52-13 win over Fresno State at home. USC won last year’ meeting 20-17, but Stanford had won four straight over the Trojans prior to that.
