According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, defending champion Jameis Winston is favored to win the award again this year, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Marcus Mariota (5/1) and Brett Hundley (10/1).

Winston is the sophomore quarterback for the defending national champs, Florida State. Winston threw for 4,057 yards and 40 touchdowns last season while having just 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 219 yards and four touchdowns. Winston would be just the second player to win two Heisman trophies.

In 2013, Mariota threw for 3,665 yards and 31 touchdowns with just four interceptions while rushing for 715 yards and nine touchdowns. He also threw for 2,677 yards and 32 touchdowns in 2012 while rushing for 752 yards and five scores.

Hundley is a junior quarterback for UCLA and also has some mobility. He threw for 3,071 yards and 24 touchdowns last season with nine interceptions while rushing for 748 yards and 11 scores.
