View Real-Time Sports Betting Odds
UFC on FX 7 will take place from the Geraldo Jose de Almeida State Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with the main card bouts airing live on FX at 9PM ET.
The main event of Saturday’s card is a middleweight clash between Vitor Belfort (21-10) and Michael Bisping (23-4). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, these fighters have even odds, as both men have a money line of -115 to win. Bisping is a well-rounded fighter with an improving grappling game while Belfort is a knockout artist with a black belt in jiu-jitsu. The key for Belfort will be to not get taken down by Bisping. If this fight is a boxing match, Belfort should be able to get the KO over 25 minutes of action. For Bisping, he needs to make Belfort fight off his back early and then work his boxing to finish the fight off.
One of the other featured bouts is a heavyweight battle between Gabriel Gonzaga (13-6) and Ben Rothwell (32-8). According to oddsmakers, Gonzaga is a slight favorite, as he has a money line of -120, while Rothwell has odds of -110 to win. This fight should likely be a 15-minute slugfest. Rothwell has the size and reach advantage, but Gonzaga has a good mixture of punches and kicks. Gonzaga has some submission skills, but he doesn’t have the wrestling skills to get Rothwell to the ground. Rothwell likes to use his fists, but he tends to fatigue, which could be an issue against Gonzaga. Also, Rothwell will be dealing with a hostile crowd that will be in full support of Gonzaga.
