The featured game of the week comes SEC as No. 9 LSU hosts No. 3 South Carolina at 8PM ET. (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, the Tigers are a 2.5-point favorite at home against the Gameocks. LSU is 5-1 on the year and 2-4 against the spread. South Carolina is 6-0 on the season and 5-1 against the spread. The Gamecocks have already gotten off to a 4-0 start in SEC play. The Tigers have covered the spread in three of their last four meetings against the Gamecocks.
The other featured game of the week has No. 7 Notre Dame hosting No. 17 Stanford at 3:30PM ET on NBC (View Matchup). According the oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage, Notre Dame is favored, as it has odds of -8 points at home against the Cardinal. Notre Dame is 5-0 on the year and 3-0 at home while Stanford is 4-1 overall and 0-1 on the road. The Irish are 4-1 against the spread while the Cardinal are 2-3 ATS. Stanford has won and covered the spread in its last two meetings with Notre Dame.
